Hi, I’m Shiri Sarfati and today I would like to share with you my makeup tip for reducing the appearance of dark circles. My go-to makeup item is my Repêchage Perfecting Concealer, I take it with me wherever I go! I love to use it throughout the day for touchups under my eyes to instantly brightens, freshens the eye area and helps to make you look more youthful and glowing all day long. Why I love this concealer so much is because it has marine actives as well as cucumber oil so in addition to concealing your dark circles it also has great skin care benefits to help reduce some of the puffiness you may see around the eye area as well. I love, love, love this concealer stick and I use it everyday if not multiple times throughout the day! This is great because it is already slim lined so you don’t have to stick your finger in a pot, you can just use the stick and dab it under the eye contour area. So, go pretty close into the lower part of your eye and just work it out. What you should know about choosing a concealer, is that you should always go a shade lighter than the rest of your skin tone – the area around your eye tends to be lighter than the rest of your face. Then, gently use your finger to dab the concealer in. Dab, dab, dab, don’t rub! Check out my video on How to Properly Apply An Eye Cream to find out why you shouldn’t rub around the eye area. Never tug around the eye! This gives you great coverage and it feels cooling, lightweight – never cakey on your skin. I can’t stand concealers that feel heavy around my eye area. This will give you get coverage all day long, but if you want, especially if you are wearing a lot of eye makeup, did a smoky eye or wear a lot of mascara, you can just dab some of the Natural Finish Pressed Powder or the Translucent Mineral Rich Loose Powder around the eye area to help prevent flakiness of your eye makeup onto your skin throughout the day. That gives you a little extra layer of protection. I hope you liked my tip! Please share with us in the comments your tips on how to conceal dark circles under the eyes!
